Turn a dead world into a living one

An incremental sci-fi terraformation game on a rocky barren world. Gather resources, build a power grid, recruit robot helpers, and watch the sky turn blue as rain, lakes, and grass follow your colony's progress.

The loop

You dig first. Then the bots take the shift.

Phase 01 · Early session

Start from nothing

Empty terrain, surface ore nearby. You mine in first person, craft at a workbench, and put down a solar panel or drill. Buildings start as ghosts. Feed the site resources, wait out the construction timer, and watch the terraformation readout climb on the HUD.

Phase 02 · Mid session

Run the colony

A couple of bots online and you’re mostly assigning work: who mines, who feeds the construction sites, who runs scrolls to the research facility. Storage routing and base layout take over from manual hauling. Push the overall terraformation score far enough and rain and patchy vegetation start showing up outside the base.

Phase 03 · Late session

Explore the world

A bigger colony can run without you, so traveling farther from base actually makes sense. Bots keep production going while you walk the open world, scout deposits, and pick your next build site. The colony keeps working while you’re away.

Terraformation

O₂, Heat, and Pressure gate unlocks. The overall total greens the planet.

Oxygen (O₂)

Growers and life-support gear feed this track. O₂ thresholds gate hydroponics, plant infrastructure, and other life-support unlocks.

Heat

Heaters and thermal parts raise planetary heat. Most heat-gated items are warming and power infrastructure.

Pressure

Drills and pressurization equipment run this track. Pressure progress gets you the heavier mining and expansion pieces.

Overall score

Combined O₂, Heat, and Pressure totals. Rain, lakes, and grass tie to this number. Max it out and the planet is habitable.

What you'll do

  • Incremental progression

New buildings and recipes show up through research and through hitting score thresholds on each atmosphere track. The terraformation total on your HUD is the number you’re chasing for most of a run.

  • Colony automation

Create new bot frames at the crafting table, and energize them to bring them to life and get them to join your colony. Assign jobs and they’ll feed construction sites and haul ore while you focus on layout and priorities.

  • Base building freedom

Modular parts, your layout. Put generators on the ridge and storage near the mine if that’s how you want it.

  • Planetary transformation

You land on bare rock with no trees, lakes, or grass anywhere in sight. Push the atmosphere stats and the world responds with rain, pooling water, and spreading vegetation until the whole planet can support life.

  • Planet exploration

You’re on foot a lot at the start, crossing ridges and flats to find surface ore. Deposit locations shift between games, so the route that worked last time might not. Once bots are assigned, you can roam further without every trip starting at the storage chest.
